The Jehovah's Witness theology has produced a God who ice-coldly points Jesus to second place. Jehovah's Witnesses are proud of this. They serve a God who sacrifices another.
In Judas 4 we read the formulation that Jesus is our only and sole Lord and Ruler. The special Bible of Jehovah's Witnesses here translates Lord and Ruler as "Owner. But this weakening cannot hide the fact that the dominion of Jesus would be in clear competition with the dominion of the Father if the Son and the Father were not one and the same God.
Jehovah's Witnesses claim that the Son and the Father are two different divine beings. Thus they deprive the people of the dominion of Jesus. The law of God says: You shall have no other gods beside you. This law categorically excludes that Jesus can and may be our sole and only Lord and Ruler – if he is someone other than God himself.
When you ask a Jehovah's Witness if Jesus is his Lord, as it is so clearly defined in Judas 4, you can easily see the pressure these people are under. Because this question is crucial and even Jehovah's Witnesses know this. Their gaze becomes empty, their eyes searching. Only the most experienced liars among them can tell the lie at this moment: Yes, Jesus is my Lord.
They know they're lying.
Additional info for people who don't know the Bible that well:
Matthew 7:21-23 Not all who say to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but they who do the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? Have we not cast out evil spirits in your name? Have we not done many miracles in your name? Then I will confess to them: I have never known you before; depart from me, you evildoers!
Matthew 25:31-40 But when the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory, and all nations shall be gathered before him. And he will separate them from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and will put the sheep on his right hand and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to them at his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the beginning of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me to drink. I have been a stranger and you have received me. I have been naked and you have clothed me. I have been sick and you have visited me. I have been in prison and you have come to me. Then the righteous will answer him and say, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you as a stranger and take you in, or naked and dress you? When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you? And the king will answer and say to them, Verily I say to you: What ye have done to one of these least of my brethren, ye have done to me.
Matthew 25,41-46 Then he will also say to those on the left: "Get away from me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! For I have been hungry, and you have not given me food. I have been thirsty and you have not given me to drink. I have been a stranger and you have not received me. I have been naked and you have not clothed me. I have been sick and in prison and you have not visited me. Then they will also answer him and say: Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or stranger or naked or sick or in prison and not serve you? Then he will answer them and say, "Truly I say to you: What ye did not do to one of the least of these, ye did not do to me either. And they will go: these to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.
Jesus can only be your Lord if you listen to him. You can only hear him if you ask him to speak to you. Without the clear prayer addressed to Jesus, you will not experience him.
